Updated: Mar 14, 2020

Lynne Ayers, Stanwood Camano Food Bank Services Director appoints volunteer Tasha Branch as Kidz Eat Community Program Coordinator.

Kidz Eat, brings together resources regarding feeding our local youth.

"We will be working with the Stanwood-Camano School District, local non-profits, businesses and community members to ensure we provide the most accessible options for food support that we can. We are gathering information on all of our available resources so we are able to pivot and adjust quickly if and when things change." - T. Branch

The Stanwood -Camano area is truly blessed by the commitment of local organizations and volunteers. The Community Resource Center hosted a virtual COVID Impact meeting today attended by representatives from various organizations. The message was loud and clear, "tell us how we can help".

Community members, Jessica McCready & Galen Brule have graciously stepped up to be Kidz Eat location coordinators for the Elger Bay and Stanwood Middle neighborhoods.

McCready also developed and is managing here4u.camanoisland.org a collaborative website designed to connect community members with various resources from medical and emergency assistance to volunteer opportunities and COVID-19 Updates.
